Melissa Tillman, Ph.D.
Founder & CEO
Licensed Psychologist, PSYPACT Certified
Dr. Tillman is committed to helping clients identify and change maladaptive thoughts and behaviors by providing education and practical, evidence-based strategies that promote independence and improved mental health. Her direct, problem-solving approach to treatment has earned her the trust of many patients who value her expertise, compassion, and dedication to their well-being. She remains passionate about her field and continues to stay up to date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.
Dr. Tillman has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, though she currently focuses primarily on young adults. As a PSYPACT-certified provider, she is able to work with college students and other clients across multiple states, many of whom are navigating life away from home and adjusting to new academic, social, and personal demands.
She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, elements of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), social skills training, and positive psychology to meet each client’s unique needs.

Danyelle Salpietro, Psy.D. CASAC-T
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Salpietro is calm, patient, open-minded, and naturally flexible in her approach. She consistently reflects on her own perspectives and strives to understand each client’s unique worldview. She believes that establishing a strong therapeutic relationship at the outset of treatment is essential for fostering trust, safety, and mutual respect. This foundation allows clients to open up at their own pace and engage more fully in the therapeutic process.
With this collaborative bond, Dr. Salpietro and her clients work together to tailor interventions that build on individual strengths while addressing evolving needs and goals.
She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Leigh Rust, Psy.D.

Dr. Rust creates a comfortable and calm space where a client feels safe and available for conversation. He is known to be a favorite amongst school-age children due to his fun-loving personality and incredible pop-culture know-how. Dr. Rust loves all types of music, movies, superheroes, sports teams, video games, and of course, Star Wars!
Dr. Rust specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Behavioral Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Rust often incorporates components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and principles of Behavior Analysis in his eclectic approach. He is exceptionally aware of the social, emotional and behavioral needs of a child and utilizes a “whole child” methodology.

Melissa Kiner, Psy.D.

Melissa's approach to therapy is centered in cognitive behavioral practices supplemented with dialectical behavioral therapy tools. She utilities problem solving strategies to help empower others with the skills to increase their assertiveness and decrease their anxiety. She is creative, has a lot of enthusiasm, and is passionate about working with children and adolescents to help them achieve their potential.
Dr. Kiner is committed to social justice, is actively antiracist and antisexist, and a proud supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for individuals of all backgrounds and identities.

Ayanna Spurlock Shackelton, Psy.D.
Clinical Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist
Dr. Spurlock Shackelton is dedicated to creating a collaborative space where growth is encouraged, supported and celebrated. In partnership with her clients they identify the challenges, work to understand why, and develop skills that can be used to manage in a more adaptive way. Dr. Spurlock Shackelton has experience with a wide range of clients, both children and adults across all ages. She utilizes various therapeutic techniques to meet the varied needs, values and experiences of her clients. Her work is grounded in evidenced-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy techniques, positive psychology practices and strategies from dialectical behavior therapy. Wellness and well-being are also central to her work, so self-care, stress management, aligning values, sustainable habits, momentum and efforts to thrive are also actively addressed in treatment. Whether clients are working through anxiety, life transitions, stress, frustration or simply seeking more clarity and balance, the therapeutic partnership is a space to engage, grow skills, identify and capitalize on strengths, and move towards a more fulfilling life. Dr. Spurlock Shackelton is also a certified school psychologist with extensive experience with young children, middle and high school students. She has practiced in different settings including college campuses, hospitals and community mental health centers. She has a warm, compassionate, straightforward demeanor, she is a champion at Uno and is known to enjoy a mini-dance party every now and then.

Maria Petrolekas, Psy.D., BCBA, LBA

Maria is not only a licensed psychologist, certified school psychologist but also board-certified behavior analyst. She is a dedicated advocate for the emotional, behavioral, and developmental well-being of children, teens, and adults. Whether supporting a young child navigating big emotions, a teen facing academic pressures, or an adult seeking clarity and change, she offers a warm, collaborative, and creative therapeutic space tailored to each individual’s needs.
Her dual background in School Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis allows her to address a wide range of challenges—from learning differences and behavioral concerns to anxiety, mood disorders, and executive functioning. Maria also values close collaboration with families, educators, and caregivers to create consistent, supportive environments that empower lasting progress.
Maria’s approach to therapy is never one-size-fits-all. She often integrates play-based strategies, creative tools, and the occasional pun to help clients feel safe, understood, and engaged. She believes that healing can be both meaningful and enjoyable.

Victoria Phoenix, Psy.D.

Dr. Phoenix fosters a warm and welcoming environment where clients of all backgrounds feel safe to share without fear of judgment. She integrates evidence-based interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), with an emphasis on self-compassion, self-acceptance, and mindfulness.
With a background in school psychology, Dr. Phoenix also assists students and parents with a range of educational and school-related concerns. She primarily focuses her clinical work on children, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges while supporting families along the way.

Dr. Ayoub strives to foster a genuine and compassionate milieu in which client and therapist can collaborate to achieve common goals. He is committed to a cognitive behavioral orientation but integrates elements of DBT and behavioral activation to assist clients in changing their philosophy, increasing their ability to cope, and building healthy lifestyle habits. Kelsey McLaughlin, Psy.D.

Kelsey specializes in providing therapy to children and adolescents experiencing a variety of social-emotional challenges. These challenges include anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, behavior disorders, ADHD, and adjustment difficulties.
Dr. McLaughlin integrates elements of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness strategies in her treatment approach, while creating a safe, caring, and supportive therapeutic environment. She maintains warmth, empathy, and nonjudgement throughout her work. In addition, Dr. McLaughlin is able to offer support and assistance to families while navigating the school system in order to coordinate care.

Kevin Darcy, LCSW

Kevin has worked extensively with adolescents who have emotional, social, and behavioral challenges and has also provided parent training. Kevin offers a highly personalized approach in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere. Each treatment plan he creates is tailored to his client’s individual needs with the goal of personal growth. He guides individuals to achieve self-empowerment by utilizing an eclectic approach and by incorporating components of Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies.

Rebecca F. Bertuccio, Ph.D., NCSP

Rebecca Bertuccio is a Certified School Psychologist. She is experienced in providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and anger.
Dr. Bertuccio utilizes an open, empathetic, compassionate, and person-oriented approach in her work. She aims to create a safe and supportive space for her clients. Dr. Bertuccio integrates various evidence-based therapeutic methods into her practice, including approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She tailors her delivery of services to the needs of her clients.
